What is CBP Vetting? |

The CBP Vetting system is a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Web-based computer application that provides for the vetting of person subject and other information by other government agencies. You must have an active TECS profile in order to submit a request in CBP Vetting. |

How do I enroll with CBP Vetting? | ||
To participate in CBP Vetting, you must first enroll by following these simple steps:
If you have problems enrolling in CBP Vetting and know who your Agency Account Manager is, please contact that person. |

The ability to successfully log into TECS. |

What happens if my agency is not displayed on the enrollment screen? | ||
If your agency is not displayed on the enrollment screen, please contact your Account Manager. |

I’ve enrolled but haven’t received a response. What is going on? | ||
If you have enrolled correctly, then you are pending in our approval process. Please give your account manager 24 hours to approve your request. You can always contact them to remind them of your need to access CBP Vetting and to expedite the approval. |

How to Reset/Change my Password? |

Click here to Change/Reset Password Click SELF RESET PASSWORD hyperlink Select Forgot Your Current Password hyperlink Enter your Hash ID and last four digits of your Social Security Number in the appropriate fields. Select Reset and Send Email. If you have a valid email address in your User Profile Record, an email containing your temporary password will be sent to your inbox. If you are not on the CBP Secure Network the above Self Reset Password will not work. You may contact the DHS Help Desk (1-800-927-8729) or your local SCO to request Password Reset. |
